Course Summary

This research course is specifically designed to equip you with the essential research skills that are paramount in the modern business environment. The objective of this course is to expand your technical and managerial outlooks by providing you with practical applications of business concepts and knowledge to real-world situations.
In this course, you will acquire expertise in methodologies and tools for identifying, researching, and analysing business problems in the managerial context.
The course covers fundamental research paradigms and both qualitative and quantitative methods that are used to unpack business problems. Additionally, you will learn how to research and synthesise information from diverse sources and perform various analyses to arrive at effective solutions. The course explores the processes of analytics to equip students with the ability to apply methodologies in solving business problems and developing innovative solutions. The course culminates in a research project that requires you to select an appropriate research topic, research methodology and methods, and conduct the research in consultation with the academic staff.
