Course Summary

This course equips you to identify, design, validate, and commercialise AI-native products and ventures. While other courses in the MBA program address AI as a strategic lens for leadership or workforce transformation, this course positions AI as the product — and challenges you to build one.

You will develop the capabilities of an AI product practitioner: finding genuine opportunities where AI creates defensible customer value, designing human-centred AI experiences using AI-augmented design methods, building go-to-market and commercialisation strategies, and communicating a compelling product vision to investors and senior stakeholders.

A distinctive feature of this course is its use of AI-augmented co-design. Students use AI tools — primarily the ADD Platform or equivalent structured Val-based workflows — as active co-design partners throughout the design process. This gives you firsthand experience of the human-AI collaboration dynamics your products will need to navigate and develops the critical judgment to know when AI augments and when it impedes good design. Structured weekly reflections ensure this experience is translated into genuine practitioner insight.
