Course Summary

This course provides you with an opportunity to consolidate your understanding of musculoskeletal sciences and contextualise this within Physiotherapy practice. You will focus on the safe performance and application of Physiotherapy assessment and intervention techniques within a simulated clinical setting that has a focus on musculoskeletal care. Case based learning will be utilised to consolidate theoretical knowledge and the principles of Physiotherapy management integrating the other Physiotherapy core areas of practice. This course will incorporate anatomy, biomechanics, psychosocial and cultural dimensions of Physiotherapy practice to advance clinical reasoning such as formulating relevant hypotheses and providing rationales for evidence-based interventions.
