This course provides you with an opportunity to consolidate your understanding of neurosciences and contextualise this within Neurological Physiotherapy practice. You will focus on the safe performance and application of Physiotherapy assessment and intervention techniques for simulated patients within a neurological setting. Case based learning will be utilised to consolidate theoretical knowledge and the principles of Physiotherapy management integrating the other Physiotherapy core areas of practice. This course will incorporate anatomy, pathophysiology, biomechanics, psychosocial and cultural dimensions of Physiotherapy practice clinical reasoning including formulating hypotheses and providing rationale for evidence-based interventions.
