Course Summary

This capstone course integrates elements of design, patternmaking and garment construction to respond to an industry brief. Engaging in a team project, you will refine your collaborative skills, culminating in a completed collection of finished garments. The range will showcase your collective innovative designs that harmonise aesthetics, comfort and environmental ethics.
This WIL project is co-designed with industry. You will work in teams to undertake a real project that is based on real problems or address the needs of industry. Industry partners are engaged in the project and provide feedback to students.
In preparation for this course you will be required to complete WIL agreements and the WIL Ready Credential or the WIL preparation module.
