Course Summary

Design Prototyping 2 extends your capacity in industrial design prototyping and the manipulation of materials, tools, and machines in a creative and responsible manner. You will undertake a variety of practical exercises and projects in workshop and studio environments to understand how various materials may be processed in the development and realisation of design concepts. You will learn a design prototyping workflow moving between desktop modelling, digital fabrication, and industrial processes to plan and manage the often-complex process of translating a design idea to a functional prototype.
This is a core course in the BH104P25 Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) program.?
