Course Summary
This course will build on previous learning with a focus on culturally competent care in medical radiation practice. Communication and reflective practice skills will be further developed, with you being able to critically reflect on your own practice. This course will also introduce you to the use of medicines in Medical Radiation practices, and will provide an introduction to pharmacology. You will be introduced to the signs of pharmaceutical induced medical emergencies and the role of the medical radiation practitioner in responding.
