Course Summary
In an era marked by rapid change and uncertainty, organisations are increasingly recognising the need for strategic foresight to navigate disruptions and emerging opportunities. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to strategic foresight, blending theory with practical application. It is designed to equip highly collaborative student teams with the tools and methodologies to anticipate future trends, craft robust and resilient strategies and drive proactive change in both the public and private sectors. This course builds on content delivered in BUS2754.
This course also teaches you to critically engage in concepts related to behavioural change within organisations. It is not enough to have a change management strategy and leadership competencies. An additional skill set is required: evaluating how principles and practices of behavioural science can enable change both internally to the organisation and in response to the external operating environment. The importance of multi-cultural professional networks and a blend of human and digital facilitators will be emphasised.
This course is a component of the Leadership and Strategy major.
