This course aims to introduce students to the key concepts and best practices in Business Intelligence (BI), focusing on the shift towards business users and self-service BI platforms. Students will practice their technical skills by engaging with a wide range of real-world datasets, practical decision-making scenarios, and self-service BI tools and enhance their ability to extract actionable insights from data. Students will learn essential skills to classify data, assess its value, and identify internal and external factors that influence the success of BI projects. Students will learn how advanced technologies in modern BI platforms, such as predictive analytics and Artificial intelligence, can help businesses accelerate decision-making, uncover hidden patterns, and gain a competitive edge in their respective markets.
