The most common power electronic systems used for such conversion are the main topics of the course, with the focus on the principle of operation of each system, the basic design calculations and practical applications. You will have an opportunity to test each system in the laboratory The fundamentals presented in this course will assist you in range of further studies, including Variable Speed Drives, Switched Mode Power Supplies, Renewable Electrical Energy Systems, Power Electronic Converters, etc.
