Course Summary
In this course, you will develop an applied understanding of visual literacy to inform your illustration practice. The course integrates a knowledge of theories of visual communication with contemporary design skills, to foster a sophisticated command of graphic design principles for diverse stakeholders and audiences. You will learn about semiotics and communication theory through hands-on exercises that prepare you for industry practice. This course is part of the Illustration minor and major in the BP115P26 Bachelor of Graphic Design.
