Course Summary

In this course, you will investigate a variety of ways to create positive societal impact through design. The course integrates contemporary design skills with socially engaged practice, focussing on the design of products, services, and systems that respond to the specific needs of individuals and communities. You will learn principles and methods of social design that emphasise collaboration, inclusion, and human connection, tackling issues such as health, education, regenerative futures, and social justice, to develop projects that are meaningful and sustainable for stakeholders and end-users.
This is an option course in the Experience Design and Branding majors in BP115P26 Bachelor of Graphic Design.
