It examines the evolving nature of drug use alongside responses from law enforcement and policy makers. Through key topics such as the development of Australian drug police, cultural representations and stereotyping of drug users, and he consequences of prohibition, the course explores the real world impacts of societal views and policies on illicit drugs.
