Course Summary

In the course, you will complete a research project in fashion enterprise and technology, building on the work you began in Fashion Honors Project Part A. You will apply research methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and ethical principles, as you plan, execute, and finalise your project.
Your research project can take one of two formats:
  • Dissertation and associated artefact: Produce a physical or digital artefact (such as a prototype, tool, experience, or system) along with a written dissertation that critically positions the artefact within academic and industry frameworks and documents through reflection and analyses your research process.
  • Thesis: Produce a comprehensive written thesis that presents your research to address a complex issue in fashion enterprise and technology. This will include a literature review, methodology, data analysis, and discussion of findings.
This course focuses on project execution, resource management, and the delivery of a cohesive output that applies your knowledge to contemporary challenges in the fashion and textiles industry.
If you are enrolled in this course as a component of your Bachelor Honours Program, your overall mark will contribute to the calculation of the weighted average mark (WAM). See the WAM information web page for more information.
