This studio-based course is the capstone for the Textile and Material Design Major.

In this course you will develop a creative project to demonstrate your emerging textile and material design practice in a related discipline or industry context. As a capstone experience, it is designed to enable you to synthesise and integrate knowledge, connect theory and practice as well as demonstrate a holistic achievement of Textiles and Material Design Major learning outcomes.

This capstone course provides an opportunity for you to prepare for and reflect on your transition from university into your future professional career. The course is designed for you to apply and critically reflect upon the ideas, skills and graduate capabilities you have gained through the Major. It will also help you to critically evaluate professional practices using scholarly ideas and your own insights.
