Course Summary

In this course you will be introduced to industry standard software, with a focus on CLO3D software and the concept of extended reality (XR). You will gain insights and knowledge into the application and use of digital tools and workflows in the fashion industry. You will interogate how digital tools can support a sustainable approach to design and development, and learn how 3D assets can be employed across a multitude of aspects involved in fashion design.
Your experience will be enhanced by discussions about inclusivity, accessibility, and controversies around the digital representation of the body.
This course is a component of the major in Fashion Innovation and Technology and minor in Digital Fashion offered in BP326P26 Bachelor of Fashion Sustainability.
