Course Summary

In this course, you will continue working with specialised skills in sculpture, focusing on casting. You will develop strategies and methods of sculpture production to progress your art practice and build upon the skills you have developed in other courses. You will learn to experiment, test and resolve a range of sculptural processes, methods and technologies such as mold making and casting using plaster and other materials.??
You will engage in methods and processes that foreground safe practices and consider environmental sustainability. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.?
This course is part of the Major: 3D Studio Practices and the Minor: Sculpture.
