Course Summary
In this course, you will continue working with specialised skills in jewellery, focusing on metal's innate ability to transform. You will develop strategies and methods of jewellery production to progress your art practice and build upon the skills you have already developed in other courses.??
You will learn to experiment, test and resolve a range of gold & silversmithing processes, methods, tools and technologies such as casting, fusing, electroforming, repousse, raising, forming and forging.??
You will engage in methods and processes that foreground safe practices and consider environmental sustainability. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.?
