Course Summary

In this course, you will expand your understanding of contemporary photographic practice through technical, contextual, professional, and ethical frameworks. You will develop advanced technical skills while critically engaging with contemporary photographic discourse, industry practices, and diverse cultural perspectives. Through hands-on projects, critical analysis, and professional development activities, you will learn to position your practice within broader social, cultural, and professional contexts.
As you further develop processes and practices aligned to industry standards, you will also be challenged to produce more sophisticated, and conceptually and critically driven work that demonstrates your understanding of photography as a dynamic form of visual communication and cultural expression.
