Course Summary

In this course, you will focus on the fabrication of?small metal objects and jewellery. You will investigate ways to create art objects and jewellery with materials such as brass, copper, silver and steel. Techniques will include small scale metal fabrication, such as sawing, filing, doming, soldering, metal borders, folding, curving, forming and wire construction. You will explore and experiment with form making through collage and assemblage processes. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.?
