Course Summary

This studio-based course will continue to complement the Creative Technology and Practice specialisation courses, enabling you to integrate and synthesise the technical skills you have acquired with a range of strategies and concepts to push your individual creative practice forward.
You will focus on developing your creative practice at an advanced level and within a global contemporary context. You will identify technological, material and conceptual concerns through practical investigations and apply professional level knowledge and skill to produce the work.
You will define, research, document and present your ideas in consultation with academic staff and produce a studio work proposal. In this proposal you will formulate and articulate the conceptual foundation for your resolved work.
This course introduces key RMIT capabilities and sets the foundation for a continuum of professional skills for the creative industries.
This course is part of the Major: Expanded Media Arts.
