In this course, you will explore processes and concepts surrounding portability, exploring a range of materials for constructing sculptural frameworks with an initial focus on creating collapsible sculptural forms that can be dismantled and rebuilt.?

The consideration of scale and portability will provide alternate spaces for you to experiment with different methodologies in relation to your work. You will research historical and contemporary models, maquettes, modular and portable artworks.?

You will engage in methods and processes that foreground safe practices and consider environmental sustainability. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.??
