Course Summary

In this course you will continue working with specialised skills in ceramics, focusing on plaster moulds and hybrid forms. You will develop strategies and methods of ceramics production to progress your art practice and build upon the skills you have developed in other courses.??
You will learn to experiment, test and resolve a range of ceramics processes methods and technologies such as moulding skills and explore the mould as a basis of experimental alteration to develop and evolve unique objects.?
You will engage in methods and processes that foreground safe practices and consider environmental sustainability. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.?
This course is part of the Major: 3D Studio Practices and Minor: Ceramics.
