Course Summary

This course investigates the function of objects, what defines their purpose, and how ritual, domestic, and symbolic concepts inform the ceramic functional object. Through a series of projects and investigations, you will explore the relationship of tactility, utility and aesthetic - primarily through ceramic making techniques. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.??
