In this course, you will explore drawing in relation to electricity, including, AI, animation, 3D modelling, remote drawing, video drawing, light drawing, etc. From the electrical impulses in the brain that transform through our nervous systems into marks on a surface or in space, to being connected into complex electrical networks of algorithms, electricity is key to the life force of creative endeavours. Drawing Electric will experiment with the process and material possibilities of drawing in relation to electricity. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.?
