In this course, you will continue working with specialised skills in sculpture, focusing on materiality. You will develop strategies and methods of sculptural production to progress your art practice and build upon the skills developed in other courses.
You will learn to experiment, test and resolve a range of sculpture processes, methods and technologies to explore the structural and aesthetic properties of traditional and non-conventional materials and their agency.
You will engage in methods and processes that foreground safe practices and consider environmental sustainability. Projects will encourage processes of documentation and reflection to inform and extend your studio work.
This course is part of the Major: 3D Studio Practices and the Minor: Sculpture.
