Course Summary

This course will provide you with an introduction to the separate divisions of medical radiation practice – Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy. You will learn the fundamentals of all areas of practice, as well as the principles of medical radiation physics that underpin this practice. You will participate in tutorials where the practical aspects of each stream will be explored. You will also be introduced to professional practice and patient care, including the concept of interdisciplinary collaborative health care in the setting of the Australian health care system.
