Extend your expertise in learner assessment, supervision, and feedback within clinical education settings. In this course, you will advance your understanding of contemporary assessment methods and apply theoretical principles that support authentic assessment of learners within the clinical environment. You will design and implement robust assessment rubrics and practise effective delivery of constructive feedback to improve student learning and support clinical learner development and performance.
You will explore contemporary leadership, supervision, and mentorship models. This course will enable you to cultivate skills to address specific challenges encountered by clinical supervisors and develop mentorship skills to promote effective leadership.
This course is focused on evidence-based practice to support proficient assessment of learner capability that promotes patient safety, inclusivity, diversity, and equitable access in clinical education.
