In this course you will learn to identify, evaluate, and propose the many forms of social change created by documentary films.

You will engage critically with documentary impact strategies using a range of criteria to understand their function and effectiveness. You will develop creative and ethical ways in which documentary impact can be conceptualised, designed and evaluated in partnership with stakeholders, ultimately a proposal for a social impact documentary project.

This course includes a work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
