This course explores the challenges and strategies involved in securing cloud computing environments. You will learn about cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), shared responsibility models, cloud identity and access management (IAM), encryption, secure data storage, and compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR). Through hands-on lab exercises using leading cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), you will configure security controls, apply best practices for securing cloud workloads, and respond to cloud-based threats. The course prepares you for industry roles focused on cloud security operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
