This course focuses on designing and developing secure, user-friendly e-commerce web applications. You will explore techniques for secure coding, session management, authentication, input validation, and protection against common web threats such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS). You will also learn how to integrate secure payment gateways and apply HTTPS protocols for data transmission. Emphasis is placed on following best practices in secure development lifecycles (SDLC) and compliance with relevant security standards. Through a project-based approach, you will build a functional e-commerce prototype that demonstrates both usability and robust security features.
