Course Summary
In this capstone course, you will work directly with industry and community partners on real-world regenerative projects addressing urgent planetary challenges. Working in interdisciplinary teams, you will tackle complex issues such as renewable energy transitions, food systems, water management, housing affordability, climate adaptation, waste to value, circular economy or care economies. The course provides a structured environment to apply the knowledge and skills developed throughout your studies to create practical, implementable solutions that consider both human and non-human interests. You will engage with emerging technologies such as AI while navigating their ethical implications, and develop professional capabilities in project management, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment. This hands-on experience will prepare you to become an effective change agent in your chosen field.
This course is a core course in the Regenerative Futures minor.
