Course Summary

This course explores the art and science of storytelling to encourage critical thinking about the impact of speculative narratives.
Through a blend of theoretical study and practical exploratory workshops, you will engage with diverse media, including literature, film, interactive platforms and a variety of digital and analogue design tools. You will collaborate on projects that highlight Indigenous Knowledges ecological interrelatedness, equity, and technological ethics, fostering a holistic understanding of future-oriented storytelling.
By the end of the course, you will have developed the skills to create narratives that inspire thoughtful reflection and responsible action towards a multiplicity of futures.
This course is an option course in the Regenerative Futures minor.
