This course analyses how technology and cultural production shape futures thinking, activism, and regenerative possibilities.
You will examine the dynamic relationship between emerging technologies, media economies and cultural narratives. Through critical analysis of changing modes of production, consumption and social dynamics across the media landscape, you will investigate how technology and media influence public understandings of environmental and social challenges.
The course combines theoretical frameworks and case study analysis with creative exploration, encouraging you to develop responses that envision and advocate for regenerative futures.
This course is an option course in the Regenerative Futures minor.
