This course explores how urban play and place-based knowledges create experiences of regenerative social imaginaries. You will engage in collective and speculative design processes, learning how creative place keeping practices connect Indigenous knowledges and regenerative streets.
You will develop skills in facilitating creative play for imagination and social innovation, with special attention to intersectional knowledges and social infrastructure. Through outdoor learning environments and situated knowledge practices, you will explore methods of 'reworlding', creating interventions that transform everyday spaces into sites of regenerative learning and community action. This hands-on approach helps you develop practical methods for reimagining and reshaping urban environments through collaborative, experiential, and playful practices connecting social, environmental, technological and other layers of place.
