This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide personal styling advice to clients, based on their requirements and personal analysis. It requires the ability to consult with client and conduct a personal figure and colour palette analysis, determine and source garments to create flattering looks, evaluate client satisfaction and promote styling service. The unit applies to individuals who provide personalised styling services in a range of styling contexts including personal shopping, restructuring a client's entire wardrobe, celebrity or red-carpet styling, styling for special occasions and/or image consultancy.
