Course Summary

This course is an introduction to the core digital tools and techniques used in contemporary graphic design practice. Through a variety of exercises and design projects, you will build your proficiency in industry-standard software for image editing, vector illustration, layout design, and screen-based communication. You will focus on using digital tools confidently and purposefully in response to creative briefs, while developing efficient workflows and professional file management skills. You will also reflect critically on your technical and creative development, laying a foundation for tackling more complex design challenges and supporting your development as an adaptable practitioner in an evolving design landscape. This is a foundation course in BP115P26 Bachelor of Graphic Design program.
