Course Summary
This course is designed to introduce you to the technology available to assist translating practice to:
- maximise your productivity,
- translation consistency,
- and to maintain translation quality.
You will be exposed to various Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, Machine Translation (MT) and AI translation applications, and other subtitling and formatting softwares. You will also be introduced to topics relating to the interface between human and machine translation, project management, and future technological trends.
This course compliments your translation studies and will develop your skills and competence in using translation technologies as a future practitioner in the industry.
