Course Summary

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to create designs and production specifications for woven, knitted, printed or experimental textile products using digital programs. Programs may be generic or specialised to textile applications. The focus of the unit is on the skills to use digital software features.
This unit applies to textile designers.
This unit is delivered and assessed with MSTAT5001 Develop and present design concepty in response to a brief and MSTFD5027 Cost production of fashion and textile design
