This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on foundational cloud concepts and core security practices. Designed for postgraduate students and professionals seeking to upskill in cloud technologies, the course aligns with industry standards by integrating advanced theoretical knowledge with practical skills. 

You will explore AWS global infrastructure, core services (compute, storage, networking, databases), and architectural best practices. Emphasis is placed on securing cloud environments especially data, network and applications through identity and access management (IAM), encryption, compliance frameworks, and threat detection tools. Learners will also gain hands-on experience with AWS security services such as AWS Shield, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.
