Course Summary

This course will fine tune your practical skills toward an applied, industry-inspired project, along with the other course PERF2081 Music Industry Project in your program. You will choose from a range of case studies that could include music making with Ableton Live, DJ performance, or event management, and respond to a project prompt that requires planning, problem-solving and collaboration. By the end of this course, you will have developed a broad understanding of project management and the conceptual awareness required to navigate inherent challenges. 

This course includes Industry Partnered Learning (IPL) activities, where you will have the opportunity to participate in authentic industry and community engaged activities and tasks to support your professional development and career planning such as Career Development Learning (CDL) and Industry Embedded Activities (IEA).  

This is a core course in BP047P27 Bachelor of Music Industry.
