In this foundation course, you will be introduced to a range of fundamental digital design processes and skills that will prepare you for further study in the areas of interactivity, digital environments, sound, and digital storytelling.
You will work both individually and in teams to explore and experiment with a range of digital design tools and techniques, in a hands-on, collaborative manner.
Through peer sharing and feedback, critical evaluation of design choices, and reflective practice, you will begin to develop your creative voice that will support your emerging digital design practice.
This course will connect you to a community of practice and teach you to plan, iterate on, and produce compelling digital design projects.
This will provide you with the key technical, conceptual, process, and collaborative skills that you will need to pursue further study in the Interactive, Sound and Music, Digital Environments, or Digital Storytelling major.
