Course Summary

In this course you will establish your ‘critical creative practice’ driven by curiosity.

You will learn how to practice creativity critically based on rigorous processes or research and analysis, drawing on existing works and diverse texts to inspire and frame your own work.

You will use contemporary tools to facilitate your research and creative development processes, from databases and information management techniques to generative artificial intelligence and other automations.

You will gain a grounding in the principles and practice of academic and creative integrity, and ethical practice more broadly.

You will hone and direct your skills of noticing and communication, from engaging deeply to describing, analysing, and constructing an argument.

This will support you in developing your creative practice, ethics, and orientation as a practitioner.
