In this course, you will develop your professional practice in digital design.
You will explore the industries, creative communities, and networks that create digital design.
You will learn to undertake digital design work professionally, applying expected professional standards, methodologies, and communication.
This includes ways to assemble, work in, and manage project teams, assess risk and creative possibilities within design briefs, organise workflows and resources, communicate with partners, and document and deliver your work.
This course will assist you to: situate yourself in a field or practice, prepare a portfolio, and articulate your practice to professional networks.
This is a Career Development Learning (CDL) course.
This course includes a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/or community is integral to your experience.
The integration of work-based learning and academic learning in this course will allow you to solve authentic workplace problems or address real issues faced in organisations. You can expect to receive industry feedback on your scholarly investigation for a professional context in the workplace. Students must complete the WIL Ready cred before undertaking WIL activity (although the cred can be completed at any time during the student journey)
