In this course, you will research, develop, and apply knowledge of narrative through your design practice.
You will explore cultures, theories and practices of digital storytelling across digital design contexts and engage with histories of narrative, genre, and visual communication practices, including Indigenous and place-based storytelling traditions.
You will learn to design narratives for a variety of visual formats and audiences, employing scripting, storyboarding, and editing, all while being sensitive to different cultural expectations and needs.
A key focus of the course is how narrative codes and conventions are used in global digital mediation, integrating visual and written communication.
