In this course, you will implement your Honours-level research project in collaboration with an industry or community partner. Building on the preparation completed in the previous semester, you will undertake data collection, field engagement and applied research activities that investigate a real-world challenge within health, community or service contexts. You will apply rigorous research methods, evidence-informed reasoning and ethical research practices while working in practice-relevant environments.

Throughout the course you will further develop skills in research implementation, ethical conduct, culturally responsive engagement, collaboration and research documentation. You will also draw on reflective and critical thinking skills to navigate the complexities of real-world research, including logistical, methodological, cultural and organisational considerations.

By the end of the course, you will have generated high-quality research data and strengthened the advanced research and professional capabilities required to undertake analysis, interpretation and knowledge translation in Research for Impact 2 (course ID 057217).
