This course covers the fundamental enablers required to successfully undertake Cyber Security Resilience and Incident Management. As cyber threats grow in sophistication across all industries, organisations must be equipped to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents while maintaining operational continuity and a robust security posture. You will develop knowledge and practical skills within organisational and industry contexts, exploring resilience strategies, incident response planning, crisis communication, and business continuity management. Through lectures, tutorials and industry-relevant case studies, students will analyse organisational cyber security maturity and examine response frameworks, governance structures, and security culture practices used in modern organisations. You will engage in collaborative activities and practical exercises designed to build their technical, analytical, communication, and professional capabilities, with an emphasis on hands-on application and professional practice aligned with current cyber security environments
