Architecture Worlds and Media 1 is undertaken within the Architecture Design Electives. This studio-based course aims to develop your core architectural media skills which may include immersive environments, gaming, simulation, and/or emerging media skills to support your core Architecture Design Studios.
This course has its own design focus and way of working, drawing on historical, theoretical, immersive, simulated and media-based approaches within contemporary architectural practice.
A balloting process assigns specific offerings within the Architecture Worlds and Media minor. Refer to minor-specific posters for semester details and objectives.
As part of the Architecture Worlds and Media minor, this course supports your work in the Architecture Worlds and Media: Design Studio and Architecture Worlds and Media 2 studio-based courses. Projects may explore gaming engines, virtual environments, and/or cinematic storytelling relevant to contemporary architectural practice.
