Overview
In an Australian first, RMIT is working with Apple to design an iOS app developer course. Build apps learn to code, and network with industry experts.
This course is ideal for:
- Junior to mid business professionals looking to develop their programming skills and develop an app
- Recent graduates or professionals in related fields wanting to build their own app with little to no coding experience
Content
It’s simple. Each course runs for four weeks, with the final course running for eight weeks. You will cover:
- Introduction to SWIFT
- Interfaces
- Strings, functions, variables
- Navigation
- Workflows
- Building screens
- API's
- Design and prototype your own app
- How to navigate Xcode & interface builder
- Building to devices
- Uploading an app to the App Store
How does it work ?
By the end of this program, you'll create 6 applications, ranging from simple apps to more complex applications with basic prototypes and architecture.
Pre-requisite
- Access to a Mac computer running macOS Sierra or High Sierra
- Access to Xcode 9 (free on the App Store)
- Access to Slack (web or free on the App Store)
- Access to ZOOM Cloud Meetings (web or free on the App Store)
