The Graduate Diploma of Commerce has been designed broaden your business knowledge and skills regardless of your educational background.

In this innovative diploma, you'll build the conceptual business foundations and specialist discipline knowledge and applications necessary to work effectively in a global business environment. You'll enjoy the flexibility to customise and adapt your coursework to match your interests, giving you the support you need to pursue a career in operational, managerial and consulting roles across a broad range of local and global enterprises and settings.

Details

Throughout your studies, you will be exposed to a variety of learning experiences and activities that will enhance your ability to interpret business information, prioritise and analyse complex issues, and to formulate plans, strategies, options and solutions.

You will participate in face to face workshops and online activities, and engage in tasks requiring critical analysis and problem solving. Working in groups and individually, you will identify and analyse a range of strategic issues, and apply theory to cases and practical problems.

Blended learning options

Courses offered as part of blended learning programs include a meaningful blend of online, on-campus, and workplace based learning tailored to the type of study you undertake. This learning is active, prioritising tasks that involve exploration and development of skills and knowledge through interaction and engagement.

Online aspects provide positive benefits such as flexibility and adaptability using digital activities and materials, while also strengthening the interaction and connection with timetabled and on-campus experiences such as tutorials, practicals, or workshops.

In order to exit the Master of Commerce with the Graduate Diploma of Commerce, you will need to complete either two specialised four-subject sequences, or one specialised four-subject sequence and four elective subjects, totalling 96 credit points.

GD140 Graduate Diploma in Commerce is an exit award only for the Master of Commerce. It is available to students upon successful completion of the eight (8) courses (96 credit points) specified in the program structure.

Entry into this program is via the MC205 Master of Commerce.

Credit will be assessed consistently with the RMIT University credit policy and procedures.
